GEORGIAN BUILDINGS
Come and see the unique Georgian covering buildings that have protected the site so well for nearly 200 years. The buildings are unique and historically important in their own right and have recently undergone extensive renovation work to preserve them for us all to enjoy.
Once you have entered the site you will be able to appreciate the interaction between the buildings and the Roman archaeology as well as see the repairs that have been made including a new layer of thatch on top of what is thought to be the original Georgian thatch.
